Testimonials from Brides:

Amy Thornley-Heard:

As a bride to be I approached Passionflower Creations to commission wedding accessories for myself, my bridesmaids and the Groom.

Vashti was extremely enthusiastic and keen to explore ideas, helping me to get clearer on what I wanted. She went to the commission with attention and care and found the perfect artificial poppies for my bridal hair accessories.  They were exactly what I'd envisaged!

She did a great job on the adult bridesmaids' hair flowers too,  matching them to the colours of their dresses and she made a spectacular red 'fairy circlet' for my youngest  bridesmaid.

My husband's two-tone crystal cufflinks looked fantastic with his yellow and blue crossweave suit.  Inspired by Passionflower Creations' record fascinators I ordered one for me and a light-up record brooch for my husband as surprise evening accessories and Vashti was also commissioned to decorate a pair of my shoes for the evening.

Vashti's pieces were perfect for our wedding making it really special and personalised.  She listens to what we wanted and went the extra mile to give excellent customer service and a personal touch.

I definitely recommend Passionflower Creations 100%.

Jenny Sowerby:

Hi Vashti, before I head off on honeymoon I wanted to say a massive thank you for the beautiful hair accessories you made for my wedding. The bridesmaids looked stunning, and I couldn't have asked for better accessories either - everything was so creative, unique, beautifully made and fitted perfectly with the vintage style of the wedding. Must plan another big event soon so that I have an excuse to commission more lovely bits and bobs! Maybe I'll persuade Mark to renew our vows ;) Thanks again, Jen x

Testimonial from Weston All Saintis Primary School:

Before the royal wedding of the Prince William and Catherine in 2011, Vashti came to Weston All Saints Primary School to lead a workshop on how to make a fascinator. She gave teachers and support staff a demonstration and then supported them making their own fascinators. Everyone had the opportunity to experiment and play with glue guns, wires, beads and feathers - an enjoyable and creative experience.

Then the children in school were given a homework challenge to design a fascinator for the royal bride.

When these designs were completed the staff supported children in making their own fascinators in school, which they found enormous fun.

The winning design was then made professionally by Vashti and sent to Catherine for her wedding day. One colleague said

I really enjoyed the workshop, the resources were great and I made an amazing fascinator in red, white and blue. It was a great morning.”

Although Catherine wasn’t able to wear it on her special day the school did receive a lovely letter from the palace saying how touched she was to receive it.

" I am so pleased with my top hat and Jacket commissioned by Passionflower Creations. I really wanted a sparkly festie outfit with a difference and something suited to my own personal taste. The result met every expectation of mine and I loved showing it off at the Sunrise Festival 2011, which I attended over the summer. I will look forward to showing it off at every opportunity and I’m already thinking of my next commission! With the beautiful and unique creations that Passionflower Creations are prolifically producing, I will definitely be keeping a watchful eye, especially around festival season!"

A very happy customer, no better way to spend your magic beans!

I have purchased a few items now....basically because i saw one and had to have more of these marvellous, mystical, wonderful creations... I had a brooch made with individual trinkents on, that i can add to any outfit to give it a touch of uniqueness. Then there's the hat, these mini hats are AMAZING! Ideal for a rave, mad hatters tea party, or fancy dress, or perhaps to prance around in front of the mirror in! Not only is it a hat though it has a secret function, a hiding place within the hat. So as well as looking cool you can smuggle small mystical creatures, such as fairies! What great gifts for others and yourself. I know where i am coming for my jewlery and hair pieces...

"Hi there Vashti! I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful hair clip that you made me. I had a necklace made out of recycled glass beads which needed fixing. Not only did you do an amazing job of repairing it, but you also created the most wonderful and eyecatching beaded/feathered clip that I'll treasure forever. You're a star and I will definitely commission you for any future accessories I need. :-D xxx"
